Re-Certification Process | Cardiac Medicine Certifications
Attention: Submit your Recertification Application a month early to prevent a lapse in your certification; the process generally takes 15 business days for completed applications, but can take 30 days or longer if the application is incomplete when submitted. Incomplete applications will meet delays.
It is important to start the process about two or three months before your current certification expires. This time frame is ideal in case you are missing any information on your application requiring correction. When there is missing information, your application will be delayed. Follow these two steps to ensure the application process is done efficiently and expediently:
Step 1- Click on Step 1 to make your credit card payment online for $125 if you are on time or $150 if you are late.
Step 2- Complete the Re-Certification Application by scrolling down to Step 2 Recertification Application found below.
The application is an online submission so be sure to click on the submit button when it is completed. Before you start, be prepared to upload your CE certificates when you fill out the application and a copy of your valid ID such as your driver's license. This will require that you have scanned and saved these documents into your computer for easy retrieval.
FYI - Incomplete Applications will not be processed until all required information is provided. To hasten the process, do both steps on the same day, this presents your Application from being delayed.
CEs or CMEs in List Format:
We need actual copies of the certificates of attendance received at the completion of each course attended. We do not accept list formats as they usually cannot be verified or validated. The certificates must contain the CE providers name, State Board CE provider number, date of course or event, and the number of CEs awarded. We do consider academic transcripts for some Master's and Doctoral Programs; send academic transcripts for consideration to Jonni Cooper, Exam Director, for consideration at jcooper@abcmcertification.com. Upload your CEs inside the application below. There are 12 slots available to upload your CEs.
